There is one thing some people don't understand about other handicappers picks (or forget to mention):

Using the services of different cappers (reputable, proven guys) helps other serious bettors. For instance, let's say I am interested in tonight's game with Phillies @ Atlanta. I am working on laying money on Philadelphia - I see that a reputable and proven capper likes Atlanta - that may cause me to look deeper into the game - perhaps I am overlooking something big.

It's a tool - maybe it doesn't make sense for the guy risking $60 or $120 bucks, but for those who are risking serious money, etc. it is a great tool. In fact, I welcome information from all who have a stake in the game, as seeing every angle is a very difficult thing to do.

I am not saying that I would move away from Philly (as an example), but it sure makes you think if you are being foolish on that given day. Being "off" on certain days is simply part of betting, especially in the marathon that is baseball.

So in summary, purchasing the picks of other cappers isn't always about not having confidence in oneself. For some, it is merely another tool to keep the ship afloat (I hate cliches).

Just a thought - nothing pressing.

Put it to you this way.

If the handicapper I put 90.99% trust in (which I do) I lay off totally if we disagree. Even if I come out right, I don't deviate.
